土壤有機含量高，友善管理不施用化學肥及傷害土質的除草劑，由於終年雲霧繚繞，且冬季常逢霜雪，成長不易，海拔2100公尺以上之高山茶，具有耐沖泡的特性，滋味甘醇，滑軟，葉片鮮嫩肥厚。一年採摘二次，皆以手工採摘一芯二葉的嫩葉，繁複的古製茶技術，其茶湯色澤翠綠鮮活，香氣清新。
